VTG 1960s USA BLUE PENDLETON WOOL BOARD SHIRT CHECK PLAID BEACH BOYS M 40”

This is an vintage 1960s 100% virgin wool Pendleton board shirt, this is the iconic shirt made famous in the early 60s by the band the beach boys who wore them on their early album cover and many promo shots (the beach boys were previously called “the pendletones” & exclusively wore these Pendleton plaid wool shirts)
This is an original 60s one, note that Pendleton have re-released this shirt and it is £230 on their website!!
Features include the iconic non-button down flap pockets, loop collar fastening, shorter cropped length (to suit higher waisted trousers of the era), this is in superb condition & unusually doesn’t have any moth holes as the nearly always do

This would best fit up to a size 40” chest (medium)

Sleeve lengths (armpit to cuff): 20”
