VTG 60s USA BLUE WOOL BOARD SHIRT CHECK PLAID ROCKABILLY BEACH BOYS S 38” (36)

This is an vintage 1960s or 70s wool Pendleton style board shirt, this is the iconic shirt made famous by Pendleton in the early 60s by the band the beach boys who wore them on their early album cover and many promo shots (the beach boys were previously called “the pendletones” & exclusively wore these Pendleton plaid wool shirts)
This is a vintage “other brand” one, part of the label is missing but id say its most probably an old sears roebuck one
Features include the iconic non-button down flap pockets, loop collar fastening, shorter cropped length (to suit higher waisted trousers of the era), this is in superb condition other than a couple of small old moth holes in the front see photos for details

This would best fit up to a size 36 chest (small)

Sleeve lengths (armpit to cuff): 20 1/2”
