Vintage handkerchief or scarf featuring the 17 contradas in Siena, Italy, surrounding a depiction of the Palio di Siena, a famous bareback horse race held in Siena, Italy, on July 2nd and August 16th each year. No mention of materials but feels soft, smooth and alike to silk.
